Cheating Online is a growing epidemic and one that is causing serious problems in relationships for some.  While some women engage in online/internet affairs, it is something that is done mostly by men, much to the dismay of their wives and girlfriends.  While cheating online can be just as damaging emotionally to the poor women who have to experience it as, unfortunately it can in many cases be much more difficult to uncover and prove than “real world” infidelity for some.  If you suspect your husband or boyfriend is being unfaithful online through the consumption of porn, involvement in sexual fantasy groups, sexual fantasy fulfillment sites, other sexually related chat forums and sites, and/or internet dating sites, there are some things you must know if you want to put an end the emotional pain and torment you experience as a result of his suspected online cheating.

There are a few signs you want to look for when trying to determine if you husband or boyfriend is involved in some form of cheating online (watching porn, fantasy chats, etc.)  One primary sign is altered computer usage patterns.  If your husband or boyfriend begin using the computer late at night when you’re in bed when he never used to and is spending prolonged amounts of time on during these times, you may have cause for concern.

Another potential sign is the creation of secret email accounts or even multiple email accounts which are often created to hide any infidelity and keep you out of the know.  Email accounts are easy to set up can open up a world of possibility to someone without you ever knowing.  If you see your husband or boyfriend using a different email account than the one he typically uses, be sure to make note of it. 

A third potential sign of online cheating involves his actions when he’s on the computer and you are around.  If your husband or boyfriend is on the computer in a room by himself and upon entering the room you see him quickly close the windows he was looking at or navigate off the pages he was on, you may have cause for concern.  The possibility definitely exists that he may have been on a site he didn’t want you to see which would be the reason he quickly closed the window or navigated away.  Be aware of any suspicious computer use when you are around and be sure to note his actions if you were to “surprise” him while he was online by himself.
